Chris Rock: "The Mets Are Broke!"

The New York Mets haven't yet played a game and already their fans are killing them. Chris Rock sat down to talk to Dave Letterman and began to lament the financial situation of his favorite baseball team. Among the gems thrown out, Rock says cheering for the Yankees is "like rooting for Steve Jobs to hit the lotto" before complaining that the Mets would have a "Bring A Bat Day".

Maybe the bats the fans bring would have a few more clutch hits in them.
